Missing "Link-O-Log" Traditional Cache
PYNEKONE: Again...this cache is there! Yet, people are not finding it. I don't have the time to keep driving out to check on a cache that is where it is suppose to be...so I am archiving it.

The Coast Trail system begins at Sunset Bay State Park and ends at Cape Arago State Park. Along the way you are rewarded with incredible ocean vistas'. The trail system is nicely kept and well used.
But, I have always wondered why the trail never "finished?" The trail system ends just south of the Simpson Reef viewpoint.
To continue on to Cape Arago you have to walk along the road for about a half mile, for there is no trail...hense The Missing Link. If they would just "finish" the trail to Cape Arago, then one could actually walk from Sunset Bay to Cape Arago, then return along the Pack trail remaining safely from car traffic. If completed, then no person, child or dog would have to worry about getting hit along this stretch of the "trail".
With awareness and public interest, maybe someday the trail will get finished.
Terrain is flat. Lots of parking. Not wheel chair accessible.
BRING YOUR OWN PEN/PENCIL.
The cache is between the road and a giant Sitka Spruce. The cache is sitting underneath a small Wax Myrtle tree.
*Warning* DON'T GO PAST THE SPRUCE TREE! There is no guardrail at this location. The cache is far enough away from the cliff for you to remain safe.
Once you sign the log book, make sure the cache is well hidden,BUT NOT COVERED.
