Geocache Description:

The cache is another I am placing at White Hall Park. This one is being placed around the December of 2011. Adjacent to the park is the historic home of Cassius M. Clay, local abolitionist and cousin of Congressman Henry Clay. To learn more you can take a tour (April – October). To get more information visit:
(visit link)

There is also a nice virtual cache that takes you through the site during summer months.

If you are travelling on nearby I-75, this
park gives you a chance to grab a cache, stretch your legs or even walk the dog. The kids can burn off some of that energy at the small play gym at the park. There is even a small pond that is stocked by the state for those angler cachers.

This is a small cache with a log and small pencil but as always it’s best to BYOP.

The cache is not located on the White Hall Historic Site property. Please respect all posted signs for both the park and historic home. Permission was granted for the placement of this cache.

Congrats to barstehunbre for the FTF!
