Geocache Description:

A series of caches that can be done in any order around the town. By doing all of them, you go past or near to some notable places. Perhaps link them to the other caches such as Mary Jo Lisa or The Confluence

Another section of the original Roman Walls. The town gets its name from "Hynecastle" meaning "Fortress of the Corner." The roman fort of Bannovallum has many references in town, not least the name of the local secondary modern school and local brass band

If you haven't already done so, go along St Mary's Square, which in our opinion is the prettiest street in Horncastle. Wanted to place a cache here but was foiled by the saturation rule. Curses
