On September 8th, 2011 – a crack in the Space Time Continuum opened a portal back to the Age of the Dinosaur!
This ‘tear’ in Time swept thru Winsted opening and closing allowing a small variety of dinosaurs to slip thru and take refuge in our small town.
One of the tears appeared in a field North of Winsted Lake and a Brachiosaurus slipped thru.
This giant, but gentle creature made its home in Winsted Lake and denned at the East side of the lake.
A lull in the activity of the Brachiosaurus caused some concern with the Paleontologists that are studying these creatures. A check confirmed their fears. People have been abusing this animal, torching its feet and invading its den.
A relocation was necessary. Fortunately they were able to find a spot on the South Eastern portion of the lake. The brachiosaurus created a new den and seems to be settling down nicely.
Your Mission as before, is to not capture or destroy, but to study this giant beast’s movements and habits. A living record of this creature is and will still be beneficial to the Paleontology World!
Follow this animal and document its behaviors and habits! Be watchful, the Brachiosaurus will ignore you, but will not watch for you. Stay out of his way and let him thru if he’s on the move.
Study this creature and report back to me in your Log!
Photo’s of your adventure are most appreciated and will be most beneficial to our Paleontologists.
This creature tends to stick around the lake at sunset – excellent photo opp!
Good Luck! And don’t get squished!
