To keep Superted's event tradition
going
(and it’s about time I organised
one),
this
is January 2012's offering ...
Place: The Malt
Shovel,
Lower End, Bubbenhall, CV8
3BW
(tel. 024 7630 1141)
Time: 7pm
onwards,
When: Wednesday, January
18th 2012,
New Caches Released at ~ 8.30pm
NB. There is another pub quite close in Bubbenhall, The Three Horseshoes,
so
make sure you find the correct one.
The Malt Shovel is a bit further north on the minor road (Lower
End).
There is a car park, just beyond the pub.
Food is served until 9pm, and we may be able to order snacks such
as a bowl of chips.
We will be in the bar which is at the rear, unless you wish to
reserve a table in the main part of the pub.
Please indicate if you are likely to be eating (and some idea of
time).
See photos for copy of menu (hope you can read it!).
So why is the event called
Coming of Age? For no other reason than it’s on the
18th
(and Superted said so) - it
will help you remember the day!
Geocaching events are for cachers old and new. Come
and swap stories
and pick up hints and advice about finding and setting
geocaches.
Please remember to sign the event log book. Feel free
to bring along travel bugs
to be swopped or discovered. There will be a box there to put
them in.
Cache details should hopefully be available at the
event,
but the caches will not go live until the following
day.
