small cache, family friendly, loaded with lincoln wheat pennies.
The original cache was inside of a guard rail about 100 feet away from this replacement cache. Construction in the area including the installation of new guard rails, made it neccessary to relocate this cache. I'm continuing with the same theme of coins however, unlike the original cache which contained foreign coins this cache was placed with a bunch of Lincoln pennies all prior to 1958. These are wheat cents, which are called so because of the wheat stalks pictured on the reverse of the coin. Please find your favorite year and leave the rest for the next player to enjoy the same fun. These should make good souveniers especially for the youngsters who may have never seen a wheat penny. Please trade for pennies whenever possible to provide an assortment of goodies for future players. I've included an outer and an inner container so please use the compartments of the outer container to leave your trinkets and please do not remove the outer container from it's attachment means but rather remove the inner cache container from the outer container.
