Panther in the Den gave us all a wonderful present at 2011's "Holiday Coffee House Social and Gift Exchange" (GC38C1G) - a cache container that he requested we hide around the holidays for all our geocaching friends. This hide is my contribution. Although it is no longer the preform he gave us - the location and hide continues!
You are looking for a micro container (no longer the preform that was originally placed here) in a nice park where no caches currently exist (surprisingly!). There are lots of possible hiding spaces, so you'll most likely have to use your geo-senses to find it. I won't give much more away, because searching is most of the fun!! Be careful and sensitive to the kids that may be playing nearby - this will be a difficult find when there are muggles nearby. Also, there are several residences nearby, so use your stealth! Enjoy the find and thanks to Panther in the Den and crew for hosting the holiday party and giving each of us an opportunity to create another hide in Chicago. Cheers!
