Geocache Description:

Another easy find, well, compared to the stick in the mud series anyway

I have had very few takers for this stick in the mud series. Mostly because a boat is required for most of them. This one is much easier.

Today marks my fifth anniversary of Geo-caching. Five years ago I received a new GPSr for Christmas and I was hooked. I figured I would put out a few to celebrate.

Welcome to my backyard. My boys and I spend a lot of time out here hunting, fishing, and geo-caching. I hope you enjoy the beauty of the area.

Getting to the cache. This depends greatly upon the time of year that you decide to go after it.
During water foul season (October to mid March) you can drive right to the cache. Other times of the year it's an easy walk of about 1 1/2 miles on a dirt road. If you choose to go during duck/goose season be careful not to tick off the hunters. I would avoid early mornings and late evenings as the best hunting time is one hour before sunset and one hour after sunrise.
Summer times can be a bit tricky too as the skeeters may carry you away. Take some bug spray if you go during the summer and avoid late evening all together as they will be so thick the bug spray wont help.

If you go in December through February you will enjoy the Bald Eagles as they are migrating through. It's not uncommon to see 10 to 20 in an hour.

The three caches placed today are much easier than the "stick in the mud" series.
