Geocache Description:

You know you love them -- This is a short "powertrail" between Selmer and Adamsville. Have you tried the caching-phenomena of caching on a powerrail? My son, PathfinderMark, has done three trails this year, and finally convinced me to join him on one, the TBI series powertrail. I enjoyed the experience and have gone from a "doubter" to a "fan." Some popular powertrails (USA) include: Route-66 Series - East of Los Angeles California Yermo Series - East of Los Angeles California Extra Terresterial Highway (2nd Invasion) - Nevada C&D series - Deleware TBI series - Columbia Tennessee Hang'm High - Louisiana S.A.G. - Michigan (I used to live less than two miles from where this trail now begins!) Others: http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=8c61062a-0fbf-4d43-a107-b57d9cb0b3f1 Why do cachers enjoy Powertrails? I've looked through logs from other PTs and discovered such descriptions as: "Never done 100 in a day, now I've done 1,000!" "Great memorable experience for my son and I -- something we'll remember for years." "Never had to do teamwork at the same level as we did to accomplish this trail." "Powertrails beat shopping Black Friday!" Powertrail Details: 1. All cache containers are on the same side of the road. The lowest number "64-EB 01" comes first! Start low and work up! 2. The goal is to add smilies quickly. The hides are predictable and ordinary. 3. I will be adding to this series over the coming weeks/months. Largely, this is so that one person doesn't get to claim a whole bunch of EASY FTFs. 4. Not all locations are "winter friendly." 5. The shoulders are WIDE on this highway. There is plenty of space to safely, sanely, and legally pull off. 6. For sake of clarity, use the log on "Selmer-Adamsville 64-EB 01" to log your storyline. For all other logs, a simple "TFTC" is perfectly appropriate. 7. Legend: EB=Eastbound shoulder WB= Westbound shoulder SB=southbound shoulder NB=Northbound shoulder 64- Highway number, 45 - highway number 8. All parts to this powertrail start with an "01" and radiate from a central location. 9. I am developing a "list" that is available for download to assist your pocketqueries. 10. The first town name denotes where that piece of the trail begins. ENJOY!
