Geocache Description:

My first cache to hide is a Christmas present from my Granddaughter and Grandson, hence the name!

It is on the Newton Heritage Trail, popular with dog walkers so beware of muggles.

You need to join the Heritage Trail from the Arches on Mill Lane so that you are on the correct side of the stream. There is no access from Pennington Drive.

The Newton Heritage Trail takes in Castle Hill, the Former Vulcan Foundry Locomotive Works and Village, the Sankey Canal, Stephenson Viaduct and Newton Common. The Trail is a circular route of about 10km which can be joined anywhere along the Trail and walked in smaller sections, depending on the amount of time you have.

The box is fully loaded with goodies so take care when first opening it.

There is no pen or pencil, please take your own.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU COVER THE CACHE AND LEAVE IT OUT OF VIEW. THANKS.

CONGRATULATIONS to Hardnut on FTF :)
