Green tupperware box hidden outside of Joshua Tree National Park. Enjoy gorgeous views of 29 Palms and the high desert plateau from here. The box contains travel related items from foreign countries. Take a souvenir and leave a foreign item. (currency, postcards, boarding passes, coins and such).
It's an easy walk in the desert just outside of Joshua Tree National Park. The cache is located outside National Park limits but near the 29 Palms Entrance. National park rules don't allow the placement of traditional caches inside the park. So if you're looking for a cache this is a perfect little desert walk.
Walk to N34 06.203 W116 00.941 where X marks the spot. From here walk 18 steps toward the dry riverbed and look for the green cache.
