Geocache Description:

Yarraville Gardens – Beyer’s revenge

This is one in a planned series of caches featuring my local parks and, particularly, dog walking parks.

Yarraville Gardens is a favourite. Included in the Gardens are formal garden beds, mature trees, barbecue and picnic tables, disabled public toilets, an outdoor stage and sealed paths and the restored James Cumming Memorial statue which is a work of Margaret Baskerville.
The playground has recently been upgraded and expanded with the installation of new play equipment, seating and landscaping. Dogs can also be exercised off-lead on Greelish Oval, adjacent to Whitehall Street, except when games are in progress.
Barbara Beyer Reserve is a dedicated dog area with landscaped areas, seating, drinking fountain and dog bowl.

This cache is a micro – please bring log extraction tool and writing implement. Please ensure that the cache is replaced as found.
