A beautiful place on the 6 foot track.
Cox's River camping area is a stop on the 6 foot track, after you cross the river and enjoy a nice swim, stop the night before embarking on your next leg of the track. The camping area is also accessable by 4X4 and is used by plenty of people in the warmer months. The camping area has had a change in the last few months seeing less area available for vehicle based camping. I have been coming to this area for over 20 years and still love it.
The cache is a small screw top container big enough for small swaps and smaller travel bugs.
You can access the area by either the Janolan Caves rd end, down black range or from the Cox's River Rd end.
As with all parts of our beautiful Australian bush, beware of things that can bite you.
