PARK OF SHARKS - HOME OF CRONULLA SHARKS - 2016 PREMIERS!!!!
I was surprised there are not many caches within this area, it is a great spot for walks and bike rides.
Care should be taken to avoid getting spotted, it maybe better at dawn, dusk or even dark when there is minimal muggle traffic.
A local maintainer within the Shire has been established for this cache.

The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks are Australian professional Rugby league team based in Cronulla, in the Sutherland Shire, Southern Sydney, New South Wales. They compete in the National Rugby League (NRL), Australasia's premier Rugby league competition.
The Sharks, as they are commonly known, were admitted to the New South Wales Rugby League premiership, predecessor of the Australian Rugby League and the current National Rugby League competition, in January, 1967. The club competed in every premiership season since then and during the Super League war joined the rebel competition before continuing on in the re-united NRL Premiership.
After 50 seasons of competition, minor premierships in 1988 and 1999, and four Grand Finals, under the leadership of coach Shane Flanagan the Sharks won their first premiership in 2016, defeating the Melbourne Storm.
The 2016 season also saw a club record winning streak of 15 games which was the equal 5th longest winning streak in a season in NRL history.
In 1967 the New South Wales Rugby Football League (NSWRFL) added two new clubs to the competition, Cronulla and Penrith, the first to join the competition since Parramatta and Manly were admitted 20 years earlier in 1947.
They debuted in 1967 wearing a sky blue jersey adorned with a white V and red numbers on the back, at the then club home ground of Sutherland Oval, under the captaincy of multiple premiership-winner Monty Porter and the coaching of Ken Kearney. Cronulla earned immediate recognition when they beat Eastern Suburbs at the Sydney Sports Ground in their first match. They had only two more wins, against Norths and Parramatta, and finished last on the competition table.
In mid-1968 the club moved permanently to Endeavour Field at Woolooware, thus becoming the only club in Sydney to own their own ground. Their first match there was against Parramatta and the Cronulla Sharks won 10–7.

Rugby league football is one of the most popular sports in Australia. It is the dominant winter sport on the eastern seaboard of Australia, including the states of New South Wales and Queensland as well as the Australian Capital Territory, which together comprise around half of the country's population. It is the most watched sport on Australian television, with an aggregate audience of 128.5 million viewers in 2009. The elite club competition is the National Rugby League (NRL), which features ten teams from New South Wales, three teams from Queensland, and one team each from Victoria, Australian Capital Territory and New Zealand.
Australia has a rich history of rugby league, first taking up the sport in 1908 alongside people in Britain and New Zealand. The rule changes over the decades that have made it evolve into a different game to the existing rugby football have been partly instigated in Australia as well. The country has been dominant over the other rugby league-playing nations for many years, but enjoys a strong rivalry with New Zealand.
Commonly known "League" or simply "football", and sometimes referred to as "the greatest game of all",it is traditionally seen as a "working man's sport" with its roots in the working class communities of Northern England, compared to rugby union which has its roots in prestigious English public schools. The Australian Rugby League, the sport's governing body in Australia, is working on ways to expand rugby league's popularity across political and social borders.
