Give a Fig Traditional Cache
spotthechook: The green ants here are pretty savage. There's no other logical hiding spots in this area for a cache. So best to remove it.

Remember those neo-geocache days. Setting off with the kids looking for your first few caches ... and an hour later returning home defeated and miserable (ie kids screaming). Gladstone has a host of wonderful - even brilliant caches - but many tend to be tricky.
So to Give a Fig for Neo-Geocachers, we thought we'd do a beginners cache - guaranteed an easy find - well, though it is obvious where it is, you will still have to look a bit to find it.
You are seaking a smallish tupperware type container.
The name of this park is a bit confusing. Signs at two of the parks entrances are spelt 'Illora' and 'Illorra'. The councils website spells the park's name as 'Illoura' which is an Aboriginal word meaning peaceful place. May you have a successful, peaceful geocaching experience.
