This is a nice place to view Haystack Reservoir from a birds eye view.
We see birds of prey almost every time we visit the lake. All kinds of animals use the lake as home and a water source.
Haystack has many types of fish to try your luck with a hook and line. Camping and boating is always fun here. The cache location would be an awesome place to watch the fall Drag Boat Racing.
The park, campground and boat ramps charge $5 to park so we parked outside the campground and hiked up the short hill.
Once you get up on top, spend a few minutes to explore before heading back down.
