This is a geocaching challenge cache for anyone who can find 1000 caches in a year. (consecutive 365 days). It can be for any year that has passed or the current year.The cache IS at the posted coordinates.
Finding 1000 caches in a year is a very time comsuming task. It can be done because many geocachers have already done it. This hide is for those hard-core, addicted geocachers that have either found 1000 caches in a past year or in the current year.The year will be determined by using January 1 thru December 31.
We would love to see these 1000 finds be on 1000 separate hides and not just a bunch of multiple finds on a single event cache, but we will accept almost any 1000 finds in a single year.
We need to be able to see your statistics to see that you have 1000 finds in a year - a simple screen shot will do or a note so that we can check out your numbers.
We know or have heard of many local geocachers that have attained this total and more finds but 1000 seemed like a good number for this challenge.
The hide itself is a typical rural hide and should be an easy find. Remember to bring a writing utensil as the cache is a little small for that but still big enough for a few small trade items.Enjoy the hunt and hopefully you had a good time finding all the 1000 qualifying caches!
