Es ist es soweit: Geocaching wird endlich olympisch! :-D Während Olympia jedoch immer nur alle zwei Jahre stattfindet, und das entweder nur im Sommer oder nur im Winter, findet Cacheolympia ab sofort das ganze Jahr über statt!

Es gibt die folgenden Disziplinen:

  • Rätseln
  • Laufen
  • Suchen
  • Heben
  • Loggen, freihändig
  • Verstecken
  • Loggen, mit Netz

Die Spezialisierung auf genau sieben Disziplinen machte jedoch ein neues Logo erforderlich.
