Nice little Meet and Greet
luncheon in March. This event is later in the month than the normal
luncheons with all the Leap Day events, also a change in day.
This will give you a chance to meet some new folks, get some
hints on a few caches, ask some questions, and last but not
least....earn yourself a smiley.
One of the main topics at
this Meet and Greet is the process for submission for Earthcaches.
Also, this year will be the first Mega Earthcache Event in
September.
Honen Matsuri is a fertility festival
celebrated every year on March 15 in Japan. Honen means prosperous
year in Japanese, implying a rich harvest, while a matsuri is a
festival. The Honen festival and ceremony celebrate the blessings
of a bountiful harvest and all manner of prosperity and
fertility.
The celebration begins at
11:30AM.
