This get-together is for us to get together for the usual
"meet-eat-greet," but afterwards anyone who wants to can saunter
over to the other side of the parking lot to see "Man on a Mission:
Richard Garriott."
Most of us know Richard (aka LordBritish) is a supporter of
local geocaching; in fact, he has invested more monetarily and
man-power-wise on a single geocache in Austin than will probably
ever be equaled again. He has also placed caches on the
International Space Station and at some remarkable locations on
earth. I want to see the story of what has driven this man for
years - the dream of following his father's footsteps (so to speak)
into space. I hope to walk away with a giant dose of inspiration to
use in my own life walk.
The movie is at 7pm, and
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING/RESERVING
YOUR OWN TICKETS!
If you'd like to dine beforehand, please log to that effect on
the cache page, and meet us at 5:30 at Casa Garcias (same strip
mall as the theatre; parking coords are in between the two venues
so you won't have to move your car). I will only ask for as many
seats as I get RSVPs.
