Geocache Description:

Third in a series commemorating the 300th anniversary of Abington.

Coordinates lead to the clue, which you will need to complete the final coordinates. Cache is well hidden! There is a small area on Adams Street where you can park, adjacent to this small park.

History fact: Ford's Farm

Andrew Ford (d. 1693) and his family came from Weymouth by the way of Satucket Path, probably around 1670, and established the first settlement in the territory that later became Abington. If you stand on the bridge over the Schumatuscacant (Lower Beaver Brook) and look North along the west bank, you will see the area where the farmland was.

Final coordinates:
N 42 07.4_a_
W 070 56.8_b_

a= first two digits of the year on plaque +1
b= last two digits of the year -27

Cache is a well camouflaged bison tube, so bring your own pen.
