The stash is hidden just 40 feet off the road, but in pretty heavy underbrush. This site was hit by a tornado in May 1995 - you can see the tops of many trees are gone.
This cache will introduce you to another of my hobbies. I can be found in this area one or two weekends a month during the summer. The cache is a typical medium sized container with a car/tool assortment (refer to the picture for a look at the original contents). This is an easy cache to find. My 4-year old girl Barbra carried it to the hidding place. Thanks to all who have made Geocaching such a fun, family hobby.
4/26/02 - I took Marco's suggestion and made a pass down the drag strip with my GPS turned on. It read a max speed of 92.4 mph, while my race ticket said 91.68. Not too bad accuracy...
