The closest parking is at Green Lakes State Park, but you don't have to pay park admissions - just park near the office, and carefully cross the road over to the trail head. . . Don't fall in! Please hide well, but without using 20 sticks to give it away! This could be slippery in the winter, so I did not rate it winter accessible.
