Geocache Description:

My third cache in a series of caches dedicated to all the places I like to walk my dogs. I have designed this cache as a winter cache and as such I have no idea if it will be accessible in the summer. On the day the cache was hidden there was ~125cm of snow on the ground. It is located about 180m from the marked back country access trail. Use extreme caution while travelling to the cache.

Nothing makes a pair of malamutes run quite as hard as snow. When I really want to tire Pandora (TB43RQ0) and Mr. Bartlby Jones (TB3VV7C) out I take them up into the mountains to romp in the snow. To them it is heaven. Those of us who don't have snowshoes built onto the end of their legs need to use some sort of equipment to stop us from sinking into the snow. If you see us walking in this park, or any of the other great dog walks around Vancouver, stop, say hi and get their tracking numbers off their collars.

Update: 08 Aug 14 There is a summer trail to the cache. The trail head is a few metres past the turn down to First Lake. It's a small trail that goes to the search and rescue hut (I think). If you are going to attempt to connect up to the Suicide Bluff trail you will have to bush whack.
