Geocache Description:

Small cache located in the heart of the beautiful Carraig Woods

The cache is located deep in the valley in Carraig Woods. Legend tells us that the Pikemen camped here during the 1798 rebellion. During this time they were surrounded on all sides by the English and slaughtered. If you look closely at some of the rocks in the river you can still see the stains of their blood..........
The cache is hidden in a beautiful valley, just past a historical graveyard on the outskirts of Wexford.

Please be careful after heavy rain. The cache is located at the bottom of a steep hill which can be very slippy when wet!
