The cache was inspired by Miles (Animal Magic) and his love of animals. The contents were chosen especially with younger cachers in mind and are very child friendly. Although the cache will be appreciated by cachers of all ages the location does involve climbing a small bank to reach the cache.
The cache is located in Lower Moor Plantation near Roughtor. It is a flat walk from nearby parking at Roughtor car park. It was dusk when we placed the cache and we were treated to a spectacular display as many thousands of starlings flew in to roost in the woods. I'd highly recommend finding the cache when they are around. Please keep to the ‘animal’ theme when trading goodies. The cache is a large clip lock box (5 ltr) with lots of items to swap, a log book, and room for TBs and coins. As a First to Find prize Cheyenne has left an un-activated Crystal Dragon geocoin.
