Geocache Description:

A short hike through the Shutesbury woods on the road to Brushey Mountain. Parking on Montague Rd. Look for a sign that says "Cowls Lumber" on it.

This cache was placed on New Years day on land that was once owned by Cowl's Lumber. The owners of this land have agreed to prohibit development of the Brushey Mtn. area, and it is now open to hiking. For an article on the history of the land, go here (visit link) The first part of this multicache series is located at the above coordinates. You may need the hint to find the first part, as it is very well hidden, and cachers should hide it again just as well.
