After years in the making, the initial phase of the Waynesboro's South River Greenway is open. The Greenway project will eventually link the parks in Waynesboro, serving as extensions of the parks themselves. This section of the Greenway follows the river from Wayne Avenue to Constitution Park, and phase 2 planning is already underway, which will continue along the river from Constitution Park to North Park. After finding the caches along the greenway be sure to explore more caches in beautiful downtown Waynesboro. Waynesboro parks are only open dawn to dusk, so please, no night caching.
