STORIA
L'Occupazione Avanzata Frontiera Nord (OAFN), più nota come Linea Cadorna è una linea militare difensiva costruita tra il 1911 ed il 1916 nelle Prealpi lombarde, con lo scopo di proteggere il territorio italiano e i poli industriali di Milano e Bergamo da un ipotetico attacco tedesco attraverso la neutrale Svizzera o da una possibile invasione svizzera di Lombardia e Piemonte. Il suo nome è dovuto al fatto che fu proprio il generale Luigi Cadorna, capo di stato maggiore dell'esercito italiano, a sostenerne la necessità ed a seguirne la realizzazione.
IL CACHE
Per questo cache ho scelto una locazione di notevole interesse storico anche se non valorizzato... In particolare ho scelto una cannoniera in caverna nei pressi di Brezzo di Bedero che si è conservato alla perfezione e non contiene pericoli (solo portate almeno una torcia elettrica di buona potenza), per trovare il cache dovrete dapprima giungere Brezzo di Bedero, partendo da Luino una volta arrivati seguire le indicazioni per la Canonica di Brezzo di Bedero; salendo sulla sinistra troverete una stradina al cui inizio c'è un cippo indicante la scritta S.M (Strada militare) prendere la stessa. Dopo pochi metri la strada diventa sterrata ma comunque percorribile con l'auto(se non troppo bassa) dopo circa un km troverete un piazzale con l'ingresso della cannoniera. Lasciate l'auto e addentratevi all'interno, dovrete trovare un pozzo verticale che sale verso una postazione superiore(ATTENZIONE IN CIMA è CHIUSO) il cache si trova qui in giro a circa 3 metri di altezza(PRESTATE ATTENZIONE A DOVE METTETE I PIEDI SALENDO E NON ANDATE SOLI).

HISTORY
The Northern Frontier Advanced Employment (OAFN), better known as the Cadorna Line is a defensive military line built between 1911 and 1916 in Lombardy Alps, with the goal of protecting the Italian territory and the industrial centers of Milan and Bergamo from a hypothetical attack Germany through neutral Switzerland or from Switzerland for a possible invasion of Lombardy and Piedmont. Its name is because to the fact that it was the General Luigi Cadorna, Chief of Staff of the Italian army, and to support the need to follow the construction.
THE CACHE
For this cache I chose a location of considerable historical interest even if not valorized ... In particular, I chose a gunboat in a cave near Brezzo Bedero of which has been well preserved perfectly and does not contain hazards (only should carry a flashlight with good power), to find the cache you should first get the Brezzo Bedero, starting from Luino once you get follow the signs to the vicarage of Brezzo Bedero, rising on the left is a road at beginning of it there is a milestone indicating the written MS (military Road) take itself. After a few meters, the road becomes unpaved but practicable by car (if not too low) after about a mile you will find a square with the entrance of the gunboat. Leave the car and penetrate inside, you will find a vertical shaft that rises to a higher position (WARNING IS CLOSED AT THE TOP), the cache is around here about 3 meters in height (PAY ATTENTION TO WHERE I PUT FOOT Climbing up AND DO NOT GO ALONE).
