Geocache Description:

A quick find for locals and travellers alike.

This corner sure has evolved over the years. It has experienced both successes and tragedy.

Fifteen or so years ago, a local resident bought the failing gas station and its property, and proceeded to turn it into a successful neighborhood stop and coffee shop.

But then tragety struck. A staff member was having a cigarette out back on an extremely windy day a few years ago. The wayward butt started a fire that quickly engulfed the building, and within a short time, the entire structure was nothing but cinders. All that was saved was the fuel pumps.

The owner rebuilt the building, rebranded his coffee shop as the original one had bailed on him. He eventually sold to a family who own it to this day.
