OReviewer: Hello,

As there's been no response to the earlier note, I am forced to archive this listing.

If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future, just contact me, including the GC Code, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Thanks,

Geocache Description:

January, February, March - it's Fly Tying time for us Fly
Fishermen/women. Although we've been known to be out dapping the
surface or stripping a nymph in a local stream during the winter,
the time is usually spent cleaning our trout line and replenishing
our supply of Flies. The Brodhead Chapter of Trouts Unlimited have
Fly Tying classes each year in January. These guys are experts and
are willing to share their experience and skills with rookies like
myself and teach basic Fly Tying skills. They also have a "fishing
buddies" program - if you have an interest in learning how to fly
fish you can give them a call and they will set you up with a
"fishing buddy" to introduce you to fly fishing and teach you some
of the basics of the sport. Information can be found on their
website www.brodheadstu.org
The Cache container is something simple and common, but often used
by fly fisherman for storing a few Flies at streamside. The
container is small and has room only for a log and a few simple
rudimentary Flies that I've been learning to tie. Please feel free
to take one (just one) if you have an interest in fly fishing or if
you may like to learn. If not, please leave them for someone who
may have an interest and just sign the log instead. I'd welcome
anyone who ties Flies to leave a few in the container for others to
enjoy as well (thank you!). PLEASE NO FISHING LURES - I'm trying to
keep this in the spirit of Fly Fishing! The cache contents are not
suitable for very young children - the Flies are contained in a
small plastic bag, but still the hooks are sharp!!

Access to this cache is NOT from Rt. 611. Please use the unmarked
access road from Woodland Rd. and observe the dawn to dusk rules
posted.

Take a minute as you enter to block out the noise of "progress" and
enjoy the view of Pocono Manor up on the hillside in the distance.
It's a beauty in the winter!
