Geocache Description:

Poor's Hill overlooking the Pamet Marsh

This may be the most beautiful view I have ever come across on Cape Cod. Once you reach the peak of this giant dune you'll have a near 360 degree view of Cape Cod Bay, Pamet Harbor, and the Pamet Marsh.

Limited parking is avialable at the end of Fisher road. I believe a sticker is required from the 3rd weekend in June until Labor Day. From the parking lot walk along Fisher road back to the small white sign that leads to Poor's Hill. Follow the dirt road until you reach the second sign. PLEASE DO NOT WALK DIRECTLY TO THE CACHE FROM HERE FOR IT IS PRIVATE PROPERTY. Follow the trail over the bridge until you reach the bench then begin your climb. This may become difficult for some of you for it is somewhat steep with a sandy face. Once you reach the cache turn around if you havent already and enjoy the view. Depending when you visit during the tides this area can take on a completely different appearence. I suggest going around low tide. Also at the base of this hill beyond the bench is an interesting piece of history that has washed up. Check it out! and when your finished here walk over those dunes back at the parking lot for another gorgeous view of Cape Cod Bay!

This may be a drive for some of you fellow cape cachers but heck make a day of it there's lots to see out here!
