***Congrats to Mr&MrsSherlockHolmes for FTF***
In Guilford at the East River Preserve, parking on Foote Bridge Road; coordinates provided. Open dawn to dusk. Trails marked only with surveyor’s tape, but are easy to follow and (mostly) flat. Round trip is a little less than one mile.
I revisited this area recently after having done some of Mr&MrsSherlockHolmes’ excellent caches nearby. After exploring the trails through the fields and into the woods, I decided this nice preserve deserved another cache to encourage further exploration. You will be traveling along the East River to the first stage micro, where there is a nice overlook. The final stage will take you into the woods a bit where you will be greeted by a few rocks. I've provided reference coordinates to locate the trailhead near the woods. I highly recommend the surrounding caches and an interesting history of the area can be found on "The Future is Here" cache page. As always, enjoy the journey!
