Its a leap year!
In case it had escaped your attention, 2012 is a leap year. That means there are 366 days to go out searching for the tupperware (and other items) we all love so much.
To celebrate this four yearly occurence, what better way than to have a cache meet on the day.
Its always great to meet up and swap ideas as well as putting faces to the psuedonyms we see in logs.
Its also an opportunity to put a tick in the box on your 'finds for each day of the year' grid - a chance you will only get once every four years.
The event is at the Toby Carvery ("The Beeches") in Keighley. Easily accessible from the A650 by car with the train station and bus stops close by too.
The four of us have had small unofficial cache meets here over a carvery or all you can eat breakfast so its only fitting we should use the venue for a leap year event. There have been many cache ideas dreamt up here, some of which have come to fruition, some of which have yet to come to fruition.......
The carvery is currently doing 2x carveries for £10 but you must bring the voucher from the attached webpage.
We will bring a few extra with us in case people forget.
They do offer other food as well for those who dont fancy a carvery but this doesnt fall under the offer. A menu can be found on the website.
The event will begin at 1900 and finish when everyone is full or tired!
As usual with these type of things, please indicate if you hope to attend and if you require food so we can let the pub know numbers.
There is a cache right outside the pub and 2 more across the road. There are also around 20 or so in the immediate area that are a mixture of drive bys and near drive bys so everyone should be able to grab some if they havent already got them.
There may even be a special cache set up for the event.......
