This series is a walk of approximately 4 miles on a public footpath
circling an active sandpit. Parking for a couple of cars near the
cache named "ICT" A couple of the fields had cattle in last year
but at the time of setting these were empty. A couple of stiles and
bridges are involved plus a walk alongside an unfenced river so
please keep an eye on any children with you. There has been some
recent work done along the river and at present it is rather muddy
(but still passable) in sections but hopefully should be fine by
summer. Only slight slopes involved but can get muddy in places so
possibly not a series for pushchairs. There is one section of wide
track between "Mighty" and "Ladder" which is not an official
footpath but we always use this because it parallels a very busy
road, there shouldn't be a problem and there are no caches on this
section.
