William og Patrick havde bygget sig en sæbekassebil, som skulle afprøves i det lokale område. Under afprøvningen taber William sin madpakke, men til alt held bemærker begge drenge at det sker lige i det øjeblik hvor de kører aller stærkest. Det havde været hammer sjovt at afprøve bilen. De havde bare ikke lagt mærke til hvor de havde kørt. Men så var det jo godt, at Patricks far havde syntes at det var sjovt, at drengene ville bygge en bil. Han havde derfor tilbudt at hjælpe dem med lidt lys og noget GPS. Via GPSen, kunne Patricks far nemlig beregne deres køremønster og dermed hvor de havde tabt madpakken. Han fandt frem til at afprøvningsturen kunne beskrives som en parabel med en konstant på -0,465 og skæringer af X-aksen i punkterne 29,99 og 16,79. Kan du finde madpakken? Cachen indeholder fra start logbog, blyant, bytteting, FTF & JFTF certifikater samt Williams mad. PS. William vil blive glad hvis du lader hans mad ligge. William and Patrick had built a soapbox car to be tested in the local area. During the test William lost his lunch box. Luckily both boys noticed that it happened at the very moment when they were driving fastest. It had been very fun to test the car, they just did not notice where they had been. It was indeed good that Patrick's father had thought it was fun that the boys would build a soapbox car. He had therefore offered to help them with the light and the GPS. Via the GPS Patrick’s father could calculate their driving pattern and thus where they had lost the lunchbox. He found out that the testing trip could be described as a parabola with a constant of -0.465 and intersections of the X-axis in points 29.99 and 16 79. Can you find the lunch box? PS.
