Hinds Bluff access to the Little Missouri River is a great spot to catch your first trout from this river, as it was mine 20 years ago. This access is maintained and stocked by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, and with a proper license, can be a memory building place as it has for so many.
20 years ago, before we ever owned property up here, we would drive 75 miles to the river and throw power bait or marshmallows or salmon eggs on hooks at the trout, and bring home a day's catch. Since, them I have taken up fly fishing, and really began enjoying this river, and many others for the beauty and art of the sport. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission stocks this hole and 5 others from October to May each year, with January to May being the best season for this river. There are also turkey and deer that may grace themselves around you in this spot, from time to time. The cache is a 35 mm canister hidden well, so if you find it, please sign, then log and tell us from whence you hail. Enjoy.
