Geocache Description:

This replaces tw3nty3ight's Nightmare Micro #13 though in a slightly different location. The cache is not in or on the actual monument. Use stealth & be aware that there are cameras here to protect the monument from vandalism.

A nano is a really tiny micro, so bring your own pen & log initials only. You need to hold the nano in your hand in order to log the cache. There is a log inside which you are also welcome to initial, but electronic logs will NOT be deleted if you are challenged by the nano. It works well to put the log into the cap before reassembling, and take it slowly so you don't cross-thread the container.

Please look around and pay your respect to those who have served.

The Warren County Veterans Memorial was orginally located at the southeast corner of East & Warren streets. You can walk over and see what's left of that site. That memorial was dedicated Nov. 11, 1988. When or if we discover a date that the memorial was shifted to this park, we'll add that info here. Warren County Medal of Honor recipients are listed on one of the plaques. Gordon R. Roberts, who served in the 101st Airborne in Vietnam, held the distinction of being the youngest living MOH recipient in the U.S. for over three decades, until 2010.
