A Series of 15 caches strung out along country roads in the standard roadside boundary fashion....with some traditional and some not so traditional cache hosts. Very Family Friendly.......caches that are not too easy....and not too hard. Something for everyone....especially when it's really cold or really hot out. No micros in this series :)
For Friday the 13th I thought I would do something a little special for my fellow cachers. You see, we are very fortunate to have among our numbers a fine collection of veteran cachers/ uber cachers/ die hard cache until you drop cachers with the kind of experience we can do nothing but...stand in awe of. Cachers that host awesome events, hide super challenging caches (continuously) and make puzzle caches that make your puzzler puzzle until it can't puzzle no more. Cachers that write up very interesting narratives of their adventures. Cachers who no matter how many caches they've found.....always take the time to say...."Thanks for the Hide...that was pretty cool", and cachers who have sooo much fun...it just absolutely make this sport/game/lifestyle so very cool to be a part of. So.....our hats off to them. In honor of all their contributions I have created a little backroad OMG Ride of Fame. Maybe this will lift them a little higher in achieving celebrity status. I did have a list of criteria as I made my selections :) In random order, I give you.......
Semipaw.....up just a piece from a local swimming hole. I moved it up the road in case there were folks at the swimming hole upon your arrival. I had to relocate the cache from its original spot. Lots of downed limbs in the area due to trees shedding during the drought. After the clean-up my original host was gone. A bit of poison ivy right in the original spot as well so I moved the cache to a different host with no poison ivy. The signal will bounce around in this area due to the lay of the land. So look for a giant mossy rock laying in the ditch.
