Geocache Description:

The cache is a small bottle approx 3 inches tall. It contains only a log, so please bring a pen with you.

A large part of Riverview housing estate was once all part Gravesend Airport. The tarmac path in front of you is all that remains of the airport outer perimeter track. It operated as an civilian airport from 1932 to 1956 and during the second world way was occupied by the RAF. Outside Cascades Leisure Centre on Thong Lane is a memorial stone for the fifteen pilots who died having flown from the airport. I hope this one is not too tricky. Good luck and have fun.
