Geocache Description:

The title does not tell a lie. Look at a topo map before you attempt this and please, don't get lost. Terrain-wise, this is probably a 4 in the summer and a 3 in the winter.

Deep Forest

I have included a waypoint that is the entry to a snowmobile trail in the winter and a corresponding offroad trail in the summer. This can certainly be a hike, but if you are so inclined, an ATV/snowmobile/4x4/MTB will get you part way there, but you have to park your machine of choice as a fair bit of bushwhacking is still required. Another approach is from the Village of Carp along (the East side of) Hidden Lake; see the instructions from my Forest Fence cache GC3A9QD.

I have not put children friendly on this but you all know your own kids. It is not dangerous in there, but if you have little ones, make sure they can handle an arduous hike.

This would be best done in the winter with skies or snowshoes; in the summer, bug spray and rubber boots would be advisable.

For the FTF , there is a jewellery box or a Lee Valley carabiner thing.

Have FUN!!

FTF Congrats to cron
