Geocache Description:

A lovely war memorial in Doubleview. Please take a couple of minutes to remember those who fought four our country.

This is a triangular garden with a 2.2m high brick carved wall on which name plaques are affixed. The main monument is a carved granite boulder sitting on three brick podiums.

Erected by the residents of Scarborough Districts in memory of those who paid the supreme sacrifice. Dedicated 24th April 1966.

Lest We Forget.

In memory never fading. This wall of remembrance was dedicated to the members of the Scarborough Sub Branch of the Returned and Services League of Australia, the ex service persons of the neighbourhood who were killed or died in action or who have since departed this life.
