In between Mackesy road and Tawhai Place there is a hidden park, not your everyday park mind you. This one is a dell, a wooded valley with a stream running through the centre. Access to the cache would be best at the end of Mackesy road, there is a small turn around area and room to park. Please use caution driving to the end of the road as it is only really one lane and cars can pull out at any time.
Once you get to the parking area look for the safest way into the bush. Near the beginning of the drive at the end is relatively easy.
Be careful as you descend as there are many things that have been thrown over the edge over the years, I found some old Steinlager cans from the America's cup race down the hill and many other things.
The hill is fairly easy to navigate down but hold on to the trees as you go.
Once you reach the bottom of the hill the search begins. I could only get 14m accuracy when placing the cache, so if you get better coords let me know.
Looking around the flat area at the base you will see two Puriri trees fallen across the stream. The one on the left points to GZ.
