WHAT: Flash Mob to celebrate Arizona turning 100 years old AND to get that nearly impossible date of 2/29 filled in on your stats page!
Plenty of parking nearby, shade & benches, sculptures, fountains and of course, the notable Frank Lloyd Wright sphere. Act like a muggle enjoying the gardens until we unfurl the AZ flag. Then gather at GZ, sign the log, trade trackables, enjoy some cactus candy for dessert, gather for an official picture, and disperse at exactly 2:29pm!
Everyone who logs a “Found it” or “Attended” this February 29 will receive the Leap Day Souvenir on their profile. As an added bonus, Premium Members who love to look at their “finds by date” statistics most likely see a blank square on the calendar on February 29. This is your chance to fill in the square —the 366th day of geocaching!
