This cache is located at the top of Mt Mcleod, the most remote but still accessible part of Mt Buffalo. The cache itself should be easy to find but you'll have to do a bit of work to get there. Hike or mtn bike are your options here.
The cache is a small cliptop container containing only logbook and pencil. I Hiked from Lake Catani,12 k's, and camped overnight when placing this cache. I suspect most cachers will however leave from The Reservoir, 8 k's to the cache. From the Reservoir it is all 4 wheel drive track {only for park staff}, tho' not long after the start there is an alternate and recommended footpad thru the bush for 2kms . As previously mentioned this is a remote part of the park so please wear appropriate clothing, shoes and hat, have food and water, sunscreen and insect repellant and give yourself plenty of time.
