Located in bushland in Townsville, with excellent views. Please note: The cache is not located at these coordinates, or the general vicinity. The cache is located in the Townsville area. Please read all instructions carefully and enjoy the challenge while learning a little about Townsville's aviation history.
The cache is a small sized plastic container including small trade items of a miscellaneous nature. A log book is provided so please log your visits. This cache can be located after going to the co-ordinates listed below, and answering a series of questions. You will need to correctly answer the following clues and then do some simple maths to obtain the final co-ordinates. 1. Go to S 19 15.792 E 146 46.120 and park your car nearby. Clue X. Go to S 19 16.175 E 146 43.460 and park your car nearby. Follow the directions on the sign. Enjoy the walk and read ALL the signs along the way. Clue T. Follow the track until it comes to a split. Stay to the right and follow the steps up the hill. Count ALL the man-made steps (both up and down) until you arrive at the summit sign? _ _ _ Clue U. How many metres above sea level are you? _ _ _ Clue V. When was the suburb of Kirwan named? _ _ _ _ Clue W. What year was Mt Louisa named? _ _ _ _ Now carefully add your answers to the code below to realise the whereabouts of the cache, and to save a little bit of time I've given you the obvious parts of the co-ordinates.
