Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the worldwide Condor series - dedicated to aircrew members spending the days far away from home.

This one is a tribute to the beautiful beaches of the Yucatán peninsula and it's rich cultural Mayan sites like Tulum and Chichén Itzá (if you have time go all the way to Palenque!)

UPDATE:
New hiding place as of March 25th 2013. Since the cache vanished a couple of times at the original spot at the lagoon, I hid this one in a new place some 300m east of the old spot.

You'll find it in a kind of lost place that seems to have constituted a hotel complex some time ago.
If you don't feel comfortable with it you don't need to "enter" the premises at all. Just approach from the north or east.
From the southwest you can follow the narrow beach around the stone wall to GZ or just take the short cut through the lot that has the big FOR SALE sign on it :-)
Fishermen seem to hang out here so just don't let them watch you digging up the cache ;-) I hope it will last longer at this new spot!

Please make sure nobody is watching your mission! Taking photos would seem pretty normal for tourists at this place ;-)
Have fun :-)

ACCESS:
Please take note of the additional waypoints to help you!
If you arrive by car, it probably is easiest to approach via the dirt road that leads you to the gate (guarded) at N20°45.610 / W086°57.555. Tell the guard you want to go to the beach/are interested in real estate at the beachside.
This one surely is a bit tricky. If somebody finds a better one from the north please let me know.

If you live in one of the HOTELS at the beach it's much easier: Access from the beach side. If you approach from the south, you might have to wade a short bit at high tide at N20°45.545 / W086°57.434.

It certainly helps if you take a look at e.g. google earth to get a good overview!

***
As we come here frequently, cache maintenance shouldn't be a problem.
