This cache is to celebrate Brad & Deb's 1000th find. Because we are the placing this cache we get the honor of being first to congratulate them for finding their first 1000 geocaches. Now we're looking for a place to plant #2000.
The cache, which is a gift from Winstonsmom, is located near a service road for the Tierra Verde Golf Coarse. I have received permission from the Arlington Parks Department to place caches along this service road. There is a sign at each end of the road that reads AUTHORIZED VEHICLES ONLY. There is also a gate at each end of the road that is open during the day. The parks department is OK with us geocachers driving on this road. However, if you attempt this cache in the evening and drive down the road, there is a chance that they may close and lock the gates while you are in there. The gate is for vehicles and you can walk around it. That's what we would do if we were doing this cache in the evening.
