Geocache Description:

This is a nano cache at one of the most scenic places in the world!

The Heights in Kariba is a must-visit spot! If you can, try to get there for sunset-it'll take your breath away!

The cache is hidden near a toposcope showing distances to several islands. Nearby is a memorial to the efforts of Operation Noah; take a moment to read it; it was quite an amazing achievement.

Be aware of Muggles here. There are usually a few selling carvings and other curios. You should be able to park your vehicle quite close to the cache and it might be useful to use it as cover.

Kariba is the world's largest man-made reservoir. The dam was built to provide hydroelectric power to Zambia and Zimbabwe and was completed in 1959. The dam wall is also one of the largest in the world standing 128m high, and 579m long. The lake created is is 220km long and 40km wide at it's widest point. It covers and area of 5,520km2. The enormous mass of water is thought to have triggered seismic activity and there have been approximately 20 earthquakes measuring 5 on the Ricter scale since the lake filled.
