Geocache Description:

A traditional cache on the Elgin Trail.
Boots are recommended, and a walking stick in wet or snowy weather, as the trail can be slippery.

The Elgin Trail runs 41 km from Port Stanley on Lake Erie to Southdel Bourne, following Kettle Creek and Dodds Creek, country roads for several kilometres, continues through the Parsons Tract off the 4th Line, and then goes over the 401 and crosses a forest near the Green Lane landfill site. The trail is well marked with white blazes, but is not well-used, so it is overgrown at times.
The cache is named after the daughter of a geocaching friend. Congrats to bergerha for FTF.
Parking is at the car wash on Sunset Drive trailhead N 42° 45.747 W 081° 11.855 or at the Southdale Line trailhead N 42° 44.960, W 081° 12.339.
